Instagram is further expanding its ecommerce platform, with the addition of some new Augmented Reality features – using the Spark AR platform.
It’s currently piloting a try-on feature – where Instagram shoppers can preview how certain products will actually look on their faces before they buy. Currently, shoppers can try out selected cosmetics and eyewear from a few partners (MAC, NARS, Ray-Ban and Warby Parker).
