Meta makes changes to Facebook and Instagram shopping features

Instagram has been testing out a new option that allows brands to discover and add user generated content that features their products in their in-app shops. Shop managers will be able to tap a prompt where Instagram will highlight user-generated content their business has been tagged in and can include the relevant product page. Users with public accounts that tag a brand in a post will also receive a request to feature products on their page.

This could be a useful addition for brands with Instagram shops - helping with audience engagement and enabling them to utilise their fan bases' reach to boost discovery and drive sales.
