At the end of September, Reddit announced the launch of some new video ad options – as part of its ongoing efforts to maximise ad revenues.
New features include a new landing page on mobile that provides advertisers with the ability to engage with viewers within the site. The update also includes support for more aspect ratios, including 1:1 and 4:5 – so advertisers can use the same assets across multiple platforms.
Reddit flies beneath the radar for many advertisers, but it’s worth a look. The platform reaches 330 million people each month, including audiences that simply aren’t engaged on other platforms. With dedicated, active communities for virtually every topic – it’s perfect for brands and business niches that aren’t served elsewhere.
