Twitter Adds Picture-In-Picture Playback
After promising to bring new updates to Twitter videos, Elon Musk has introduced picture-in-picture (PiP) playback to all platforms - this means users can view video clips while scrolling the app for other content.. Also being included in the updates were playback speed controls and 1080p uploads.
This follows the trend of Twitter focusing on video content under new CEO Linda Yaccarino, an experienced player in TV streaming, as the app looks to become an entertainment and information hub.
