Twitter Introduces New Feed Layout
Twitter has now introduced a new feed layout to iOS users in the form of a ‘swipeable timeline.’ The new layout will enable users to swipe between a “For You” timeline (of recommended Tweets) and “Following” (a chronological timeline of Tweets by people you follow).
The accuracy of recommendations in the “For You” feed is dependent on Twitter’s algorithm, which certainly has room for improvement. We do think, however, that being able to choose the mode in which you view the feed is a good addition to the platform.
