To conclude what content resonates with viewers the most, Emplifi conducted a video performance analysis, reviewing thousands of posts across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
The analysis found that Instagram Reels come out on top, outperforming Facebook videos. At the same time, Facebook Reels saw more than three times the number of views as any other video content on the platform.
The Emplifi study found that brands are still behind the curve - they’re still focused on stories, which once drove engagement, but the new data shows they should be switching to Reels to reach new audiences and engage with existing ones.
2024 may be a good chance to explore reel creation as part of your broader content plan to maintain your viewership and expand growth.
