YouTube has announced a new analytics update, giving creators insights into why subscribers cancel channel subscriptions.
YouTube will now provide more specific insights into new and returning viewers and how they engage with content in isolation – providing separate measures for each viewer cohort, which may help content creators pinpoint what content is attracting new viewers.
The expanded data will now be viewable under the “New and Returning Viewers” tab, a dedicated space to reference analytics.
YouTube insight development will help creators sort data and assist with content planning. It may give them valuable context for what’s driving views within each segment and may become a key in guiding creators in their strategy.
