Linked In Articles for Pages: Build Community with Long-Form Content

As part of their plans to improve the way businesses connect with and grow their audiences, Linkedin have introduced Articles For Pages.

Organisations are now no longer limited to character counts for organic posts in the feed - allowing them to create and share rich content with media, links, pull quotes and more. This will increase engagement, and lets members read and consume content without having to leave the platform or be redirected.

We think this is a great idea in theory and seems like a natural progression of the platform. A feature that makes it easier for businesses to engage more with their target audiences can only be a positive thing on a professional platform. However time will tell how successful this is, and whether people actually read what is posted.
