We’re pleased to say we’ve taken our podcast production to a new level in 2024 with a host of new top-of-the-line equipment and the launch of two brand-new podcasts!
Podcasts have always been a core part of our marketing strategy at One Nine Nine. We’ve helped make Annie Macmanus’ Changes podcast one of the UK’s best-loved podcasts, with 7 million downloads and counting! We've been producing the Off-Script podcast for Hey!, the north of England's tech platform, for nearly five years, and collaborated with Efeca on their podcast highlighting environmental issues and women in sustainability.
We’re building on that podcast success as we move into the year with two new podcasts, and a host of new tech goodies, including microphones, lighting equipment, cameras and more!
Our new marketing podcast answers all the burning questions, like is TikTok trying to take over the world, is more better than less when it comes to video and is there any point to hashtags in 2024?
The One Nine Nine co-founders James and Barnaby offer an easily digestible selection of ‘brews and views’ on the latest digital marketing, marketing, and PR news. Expect analysis of new and upcoming social media platform features, opinions on the latest trends, and advice on what you can do right now to improve your marketing performance.
The first episode is out now and you can check outa sample of it below!
If you want to know what’s happening and what you can do to improve marketing performance, A Mugful of Marketing is the podcast for you.

The second podcast we’re launching is The Sustainable Commodities Podcast which tackles everything from the palm oil paradox to the cocoa conundrum. The podcast series will raise awareness about sustainable commodities like palm oil, sugar and coffee and highlight good work done with sustainable commodities worldwide.
The podcast series is a joint venture between ourselves and sustainable palm oil experts Judith Murdoch Associates. Episode 1 launches this spring and tackles the incoming EU Deforestation Regulation - a far-reaching law that looks to improve sustainability and traceability across the cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya, and timber industries.
The Sustainable Commodities Podcast will be available wherever you get your podcasts.
