We’re content with our new (Head of) Content

Fresh from our double-appointment in July, we’ve added another member to the team with experienced journalist and editor Andy Buchan joining as our Head of Content. And yes, that’s his wordplay in the title, and we still hired him.

Andy worked for over a decade in the Dubai magazine industry for TimeOut, Esquire and Rolling Stone. Since returning to the UK, he’s written for Premier Inn and HSBC and most recently finished ghost-writing Dave Beer’s Back To Basics autobiography which is set to be turned into a feature documentary.

Speaking about the appointment, Managing Director Barnaby Patchett said: “With our sustainability division continuing to grow, now is the ideal time to expand our agency and bring in Andy Buchan as our Head of Content. He’s an experienced journalist and editor and brings a wealth of knowledge from the print, digital and data worlds. It's very satisfying to see the team develop as we build on our strong reputation by delivering results for flagship global clients across the entertainment, food and sustainability sectors.”

Since One Nine Nine was first established in 2019 by Barnaby Patchett, Managing Director, and James Bevan, Director of Digital, our agency has enjoyed constant growth. Now with a team of eight talented professionals, our future looks bright.

Clients include internationally renowned DJ Annie Mac, actor and musician Riz Ahmed and leading food business KTC Edibles Ltd.

Some of our milestone projects this year include our Oscar-winning campaign for Riz Ahmed, propelling Daniel Avery's dance album to Number 1 and helping author Annie Macmanus's debut: "Mother Mother", reach the Sunday Times bestseller list!
